Do I need an account to play?
You can explore and play minigames with Quick Play, but a created account lets you choose a username, save progress, earn rewards, and use more features.
How do I create an account?
Select Play Now, choose Create, then follow the steps to build an avatar, choose a username and password, and complete grownup approval when required.
Can I play on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in to the same created account and your saved progress follows you.
What is a Quick Play account?
Quick Play lets you try the game with some features disabled. Progress, items, and candy can be lost when you log out or switch devices.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Select Forgot Password on the login screen and follow the reset instructions connected to the grownup email on the account.
How can I delete my account and data?
A grownup can request account and data deletion by contacting legal@imagineisland.game.
Gameplay
How do I move, jump, and play? Video
On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys to move, press the spacebar to jump, and press F when an interaction prompt appears to talk to characters, open doors, pick up supported objects, or use nearby activities. On a phone or tablet, use the blue movement control on the left side of the screen, tap the jump button in the lower-right corner, and use the on-screen interaction control when a prompt appears.
How do I earn Candy?
Candy is earned by playing games, exploring, completing activities, and taking part in adventures around the island.
How do I chat?
When Safe Chat is enabled, press Enter or select the chat box. Messages are checked against the community rules before other players can see them.
How do I emote or dance?
Press B or select the smiley beside chat to open the emote wheel. Choose an emote or the music-note option to dance.
How do I add a friend? Video
Select the player you want to add, open their player card, and choose Add Friend. Your request will appear for them to accept.
How do I visit a friend's home island? Video
Open your friends list, choose a friend who is available, and select the option to visit their island.
How do I build on my home island? Video
Start by opening your island. If the building menu does not appear automatically, open the blueprint control in the lower-left (or press Z on desktop). Choose a category, select an item, and place it where you want it. On desktop you place with the mouse; on mobile, position the camera and item with touch controls, then confirm placement. Use the trash control if you want to clear what you have built.
Where do I buy outfits? Video
Head to the Fit Shop in the Town Center, enter the shop, and interact with the counter to open the clothing catalog. Browse the available tabs and categories, pick the item you want, and purchase it with Candy.
How do I catch fish? Video
First, get a fishing rod from Intern Flinch at the Oh My Cod shop on the beach. Equip the rod from your Inventory, find an active fishing spot in the water, aim at it, and cast. When the fishing minigame appears, press the action key when the moving fish marker lines up with the target. Rarer fish make the challenge harder and are worth more Candy.
How do I change outfits? Video
Open your avatar or wardrobe controls, choose the clothing pieces you want to wear, then apply your outfit.
How do I sell items? Video
Take the fish you catch and the Seashells you collect back to Intern Flinch at the Oh My Cod shop on the beach. Interact with him at the desk to sell eligible catches and collectibles for Candy.

Open the map, choose the location you want, and use the map to navigate around Imagine Island.

What is Imagine Island?
Imagine Island is an online world for kids where players can explore, play games, customize avatars, meet friends, and join seasonal events.
Is Imagine Island free to play?
Yes. There is lots to enjoy for free. An optional membership may unlock additional outfits, items, and experiences.
Where can I play?
Imagine Island runs in supported modern web browsers on desktop computers, phones, and tablets.
How often does the game update?
New seasonal content, items, activities, and features are added regularly.
Where can I send feedback or report a problem?
Use the Contact page or the support option inside the game settings.
Safety & Privacy
Is Imagine Island safe for kids?
Safety is a core design requirement. Imagine Island uses age-appropriate account controls, automated filters, human moderation, and privacy-focused systems.
How is chat moderated?
Messages are checked before they appear. Unsafe, inappropriate, or unkind messages can be blocked and may lead to warnings or account restrictions.
Can players send private messages?
No. Player messages are visible in shared areas rather than private one-to-one conversations.
How can grownups manage account settings?
Grownups can manage available permissions through the connected parental-consent and account tools.
How do I block a player? Video
Open the player’s card and choose Block. Blocking keeps that player from interacting with you through supported social features.
How do I set my island privacy? Video
While you are on your island, select the house-and-lock privacy control and choose who is allowed to visit. You can make the island private or limit visits to friends.
Technical
The game will not load. What should I try?
Refresh the page, verify your internet connection, close and reopen the browser, and make sure the browser is updated. Contact support if the problem continues.
How do I update the game?
Web updates are applied automatically. Reload the game to use the newest available version.
