Yes! The game is currently free to play for all accounts. In the future, we plan to introduce a membership option.
To download, click the Play Now button on our homepage. The game will automatically start downloading! If you need help, you can ask a parent to assist you. It is also available through the Epic Games store and Steam.
There are several control options depending on your preference. For basic movement, you can either use your WASD keys or your arrow keys! You can change your settings in game.
Full controller support is coming soon, and we’re working hard to ensure a smooth experience.

To use emotes, press ‘E’ on your keyboard to open the emote menu, then select the emote you want.
To chat with other players, press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard to open the chat. Depending on your chat mode, you can either type your message or select a pre-written phrase.
Chat modes are designed for your safety. To change your chat mode, a parent will need to do this for you through our parent tools.

Yes! When you create your account, you’ll need to have it verified and approved by a parent if you are under 13 years old. Until then, you will still be able to play on a ‘Guest’ account which will give you access to a more limited version of the game.
A detailed guide is coming soon! The easiest way is to open up the game, choose “Create Account” and follow the instructions to customize your character, choose your username, and more!
This is for your safety and your parent’s peace of mind! They will be able to help manage your account permissions.
When you’re logging into the game, click on “Forgot Password”. You will be asked to enter the email that you used to create your account. A code will be sent to that email address. Enter that code and your new password and you’re done!

No. Other players can mute you if they don’t want to communicate with you or make a report if they see inappropriate behavior or language, but cannot ban you.
Accounts are banned or suspended when we find that the player has violated our community guidelines. If you think there has been a mistake, please contact us and we can look into it.
Players can get banned or suspended in a few ways. If our moderation software picks up on inappropriate behavior, the player will receive a warning. If the offense is repeated, the account will be suspended. Players can also report others if they see any inappropriate behavior happening. Our moderators will investigate and respond accordingly!

There are a few options for troubleshooting! Try these steps:
- Restart the game
- Restart your computer
- Save any work you have open.
- Click on the Start menu (usually at the bottom left corner of your screen).
- Select “Restart” or “Shut down” and then turn your computer back on.
- Check for background applications
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
- Look for applications that are using a lot of memory or CPU.
- Right-click on these applications and select “End task” to close them.
- Update your game
- Check your Internet connection
- Restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
- Move closer to your router if you’re using Wi-Fi.
- Avoid using bandwidth-heavy applications while playing the game.
- Adjust in-game settings
- Go to the settings menu in-game
- Adjust your settings! Reducing your graphics quality or turning off extra visual effects can sometimes help to improve performance.

A moderator is someone who is like a guardian! Their job is to make sure that everyone is safe and following our community guidelines. Moderators are there to make sure that no one is using inappropriate language or bullying, stop bad behavior, answer questions, and help everyone have fun!
Let us know! There is zero tolerance for bullying or inappropriate behavior in Imagine Island. If you are experiencing bullying or see someone else being bullied, please report the player so we can look into it.
Yes! Our moderators are always monitoring interactions in the game to make sure the community is staying safe. If you see something, please let us know so we can look into it!
You can report a player through their player card. Click on the player that you would like to report, then locate the “Report” button on their player card! Fill in the reason for reporting, then you can decide if you would also like to block them. Our mods will receive the report and review it.
