What is an Imagine Island Membership?
An optional monthly subscription that gives your kids more to build with, more to wear, and more to collect. The game itself stays free and stays complete. Membership just unlocks more ways for them to make the Island their own!
Is Membership pay-to-win?
No. Membership is about creating and collecting, not winning. Nobody gets stronger, faster, or harder to beat because a grown-up bought something, and that’s a line we won’t cross.
Can my child still play with friends who are not Members?
Always! There’s one Imagine Island, not one free one and one paid one. Everyone plays the same game. Members just have more stuff to play with.

What does my child get with a Membership?
Exclusive outfits and virtual items, premium builder kits, extra Island Save Slots, extra candy every month, and a member badge on their screen. More to build with, more to wear, and more to show off!
What are premium builder kits?
Builder Kits are collections kids use to design their Home Island. Every kid earns them through play. The premium ones are member-only, with pieces you can’t get anywhere else.
What is candy?
Candy is our in-game currency, earned through play. Members get an extra amount every month, so they can spend less time saving and more time playing and creating!
What are Island Save Slots?
Save slots are how many Home Islands a kid can keep at once. Members get extra, so they can create and save even more unique Islands without having to choose just one favorite.
Does my child get anything right away?
Yes, and that part is on purpose! The badge, the candy, and all the member items and kits show up the moment Membership starts. Nobody should have to wait a week to feel good about it.
Purchasing and Parents
Verification, plans, and buying.
Who buys the Membership?
You do! Kids can’t purchase anything on their own. A parent or guardian has to approve the purchase before anything is paid for. Your kid can ask, and that’s about as far as they can get.
How do you know I’m the parent?
We work with k-ID, our partner for age verification and parental consent, and they handle confirming you’re the grownup on the account. It’s the same verification your child already went through when they signed up.
Who handles the payment?
Payments run through Xsolla, a payment processor built for games. Your card details go to them, not to us.
What does it cost?
One clear price, billed monthly, and it renews until you cancel. The price and renewal details will be shown clearly on the in-game purchase screen before you pay.
Managing Membership
Renewing, changing, canceling.
Does Membership renew on its own?
It does, once a month, until you cancel. We’ll never quietly change what you’re paying.
How do I cancel?
From Manage Membership, in a couple of clicks. No phone call, no hoops, and nobody’s trying to talk you out of it. Cancel, and it simply stops renewing.
If I cancel, does it stop right away?
Nope. Your kid keeps enjoying everything through the end of the month you’ve already paid for, so canceling on the 3rd doesn’t take anything away on the 4th.
Can I get a refund?
Membership payments aren’t refunded or credited for part of a monthly period you’ve already paid for, unless the law requires otherwise. If you cancel, Membership stays active through the end of that paid month. Full details are in our Terms of Use.
When Membership Ends
What stays saved, what changes.
Does my child lose everything?
No! Anything they bought with candy is theirs to keep, permanently, Membership or not. That’s worth knowing before you buy, not after.
So what actually changes?
The member perks pause. The monthly candy stops, member Builder Kit pieces can’t be placed anymore, so any Island built with them can’t be visited until it’s adjusted, and those Islands come out of contests while Membership is inactive. The badge goes away too.
Is their Island gone?
Not gone, just paused. Everything they made is still saved and still theirs, and it all comes right back the moment Membership does.
Can they still play?
Of course! They go back to being a free player, with full access to everything the Island offers.
